INGREDIENTS IN SUGAR FREE HOT CHOCOLATE

  • Almond Milk: Be sure to use an unsweetened almond milk so there's no added sugar. Hemp, soy, or coconut milk are also great low-carb substitutions
  • Cocoa Powder: Use a good quality cocoa powder. My favorite is Hershey's
  • Monk fruit: Monk fruit sweetens the hot chocolate without any added sugar. My favorite brands to use are either Lakanto or Whole Earth.

SWEETENER SUBSTITUTIONS

If you don't want to use monk fruit, these are some other healthy sugar substitutes:

  • Maple syrup
  • Coconut sugar
  • Honey
  • Stevia
  • Erythritol

To reheat, pour your desired amount into a mug and microwave for 30 seconds at a time until warm enough for you.
