Key Ingredients and Substitutions
*full ingredients list and measurements can be found in recipe card below*

- Pretzels: I used the mini twists, but the mini snaps will also work.
- Peanut butter: You'll want to use a creamy peanut butter. I like using all natural, unprocessed peanut butter, but if you're using a brand like Skippy you may need a little more to get the right consistency
- Powdered Sugar: The powdered sugar helps the peanut butter mixture sweeten up and get the right consistency.
- Chocolate: My favorite to use is dark chocolate
Substitutions:
- Pretzels: Use you favorite gluten free variety
- Peanut butter: Almons butter or cashew butter is great, but sunflower seed butter is a good nut-free option
- Powdered sugar: I like using Lakanto powdered sweetener to keep these sugar free
- Chocolate: Semi-sweet, milk, or even white chocolate are all good substitutions

- Add a little coconut oil to the chocolate to help if get smooth and silky
- You can chill the pretzel bites in the fridge for 30 minute after dipping or freeze them for 10-15 minutes if you're short on time
Recipe Variations
- Gluten free: Use your favorite gluten free pretzel twist
- Nut free: Substitute the peanut butter with sunflower seed butter
- Cookie dough: Smush edible cookie dough between the pretzels instead
- White chocolate: Cover the peanut butter pretzel bites in white chocolate instead of dark

STORING: You can store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 10 days.

Frequently Asked Questions
Sure, more chocolate is always a good idea! Use two forks to turn the pretzel bite in the chocolate, or lay them on parchment paper and spoon the melted chocolate over top.
If you want to make them nut free, try using sunflower seed butter instead of peanut butter!
If you find you peanut butter mixture to be too crumbly, try adding another scoop of peanut butter. You want the mixture to be smooth and creamy, but not too sticky.
They're not the "healthiest" snack you could be eating, but they're not bad. I use monk fruit powdered sweetener in mine so they're lower in sugar.
