Sugar free cranberry sauce is SO GOOD! It's made with just 5 ingredients and cooks in under 20 minutes. This healthy homemade cranberry sauce is gluten free, sugar free, low carb, and vegan, making it one of the best holiday side dishes that everyone can enjoy.

Units Scale
  1. 1 cup Water
  2. 1 cup Monk Fruit
  3. 1 Cinnamon Stick
  4. 1 Teaspoon Orange Zest
  5. 12 ounces (4 Cups) Fresh or Frozen Cranberries

  1. To a medium sized pot, add water, monk fruit, cinnamon stick, and orange zest.
  2. Bring the pot to a boil over medium heat, and stir until the monk fruit is dissolved
  3. Once the monk fruit is dissolved add the cranberries and turn the heat to low.
  4. Stir and simmer the cranberries until they've all burst and the sauce starts to turn thick. This takes about 10-15 minutes.
  5. When the cranberry sauce is done cooking and looks thick and chunky, turn the heat off and pour it out into a heat-proof bowl. Remove the cinnamon stick and let the sugar free cranberry sauce come to room temperature.
  6. Once the sauce has cooled and come to room temperature, place it in the fridge to chill for 2 hours.

  • *calories calculated are based on ingredients used and 4 servings*
  • You can use fresh or frozen cranberries
  • Monk fruit can be substituted for any 1:1 ratio sugar substitute, as well as white sugar but it won't be sugar-free
  • I suggest serving the cranberry sauce chilled, however it is delicious warm
  • Substitute 1/4 Cup of the water with 1/4 Cup of orange juice for a more prominent orange flavor
  • Use 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon in place of the cinnamon stick
  • Lasts in an air-tight container in the fridge for 7-10 days, or the freezer up to 2 months
