WHAT YOU NEED FOR A STRAWBERRY MATCHA LATTE

Kitchen Tools:
- Small mixing bowls
- Whisk
Ingredients:
- Strawberries: You can use both fresh or frozen that have been thawed
- Matcha powder: You can purchase this at the grocery store or find it online at Amazon
- Sugar: I prefer to use monk fruit to keep mine sugar free. You could also use white sugar or maple syrup to sweeten
- Almond milk: My favorite dairy-free milk is almond, but any such as cashew, oat, or coconut milk will also work
HOW TO MAKE A STRAWBERRY MATCHA LATTE
- Begin by chopping your strawberries and macerating them in a small bowl with 1 teaspoon of sugar
- Next, prepare the matcha powder by whisking 2 teaspoons of matcha powder with ¼ cup warm water and let cool
- Place the macerated strawberries in the bottom of a 12 ounce glass, pour over the almond milk, and finally pour in your cooled matcha.
- Additionally, if you prefer, you can add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high until smooth and creamy
- Serve your latte room temperature or iced and enjoy



VARIATIONS
- Iced: Add ice before you pour over the matcha
- Raspberry: Substitute the strawberries with raspberry compote
- Chocolate strawberry: Blend 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder into your latte
- Sugar free: Replace the sugar with monk fruit or stevia
EXPERT TIPS
- If using frozen strawberries, let them thaw first
- When dissolving your matcha powder make sure the water isn't above 170 degrees F
