Pumpkin Spice Pretzels: 15 minute Snack

Jump to Recipe·Print Recipe

These pumpkin spice pretzels are my new favorite fall snack! These pretzels are the easiest, yummiest, quickest snack that you can make when you're craving something sweet, salty, and spicy. The best part about this healthy snack? These pretzels are a vegan snack that can be made gluten free and use only 3 ingredients!

WHAT ARE PUMPKIN SPICE PRETZELS?

Pumpkin spice pretzels are the easiest snack you can make! A crunchy pretzel, tossed in a sugar-free simple syrup, seasoned with pumpkin-pie spice, and baked again to retain the crunchiness. This snack is made with just 3 healthy ingredients and takes 15 minutes to make. They're salty, sweet, spicy, and you'll keep coming back for more.

WHY YOU WILL LOVE THIS EASY, 3 INGREDIENT SNACK

  • 3 Ingredients
  • Easy and healthy
  • Delicious pumpkin spice flavor
  • Vegan and can be made Gluten-free
  • Just 15 minutes to make
  • A great way to spice up a regular snack

INGREDIENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THESE PREZTELS

  • Pretzels: Use your favorite! They can be Gluten-free or Vegan as well
  • Monk fruit: I have been using Lakanto and Whole Earth brands, and have had great success with both
  • Pumpkin Pie Spice: You can buy pre-made pumpkin pie spice, I prefer to make my own because store-bought tends to be mostly cinnamon.

  • 1 Teaspoon Allspice
  • ¼ Teaspoon Ground Cloves
  1. In a small bowl combine cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, and ground cloves
  2. Stir together and store in an air-tight jar till you need it

HOW TO MAKE THIS HEALTHY SNACK IN THE AIRFRYER

While I usually make this easy, healthy snack in the oven, I have had success in the airfryer!

  • Preheat your airfryer to 300 degrees F
  • Add simple syrup coated pretzels to the basket of the airfryer in a single layer
  • Airfry for 3-4 minutes, then turn them out onto a piece of parchment paper to harden and cool

RECIPE TIPS

  • Use your favorite pretzels!
  • I use monk fruit to make a sugar-free simple syrup, but you can use regular sugar if you have that on hand
  • Boil the seasoning in the simple syrup for even distribution of flavor
  • Change up the seasoning, use any that you like
  • These pumpkin spice pretzels work best in the oven, so I recommend baking them, but you can definitely have success with the airfryer

These pumpkin spice pretzels are the easiest and yummiest fall recipe! This easy snack is made with just 3 simple ingredients and takes 15 minutes to make. The sweet, salty, spicy pretzels are addicting, and will have you coming back for more. Plus they're vegan and can be made Gluten-free!

  • Prep Time: 6 minutes
  • Cook Time: 8 minutes
  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 3 Cups 1x
  • Category: Snack
  • Cuisine: American

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 Cups Store-bought pretzels (( I like mini twists))
  • ⅓ Cup Monk fruit
  • ⅓ Cup Water
  • 4 Teaspoons Pumpkin Pie Spice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. In a small pot combine monk fruit, water, and pumpkin pie spice to create a simple syrup
  3. Bring the simple syrup to a boil over medium heat and boil for 5 minutes
  4. Place the pretzels on the parchment lined baking sheet, pour the hot simple syrup over the pretzels and stir until they're all evenly coated
  5. Spread the pretzels out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and bake in preheated oven for 8-10 minutes
  6. Pull the baking sheet out of the oven and allow the pretzels to cool before enjoying

Notes

*Calories calculated are an estimate and based on ingredients I used*

  • Use your favorite pretzels!
  • You can swap out the monk fruit with regular sugar in an even amount
  • Use a different flavor seasoning if you want!
  • I prefer to make these in the oven, but you can make them in the airfryer- see post for instructions on how to do that.

Yum! Was very skeptical when making the syrup, but then couldn’t stop snacking on them when they were finished! Such a yummy fall snack! I didn’t have monk fruit so I just used sugar!

      Hi Grace!
I'm so glad you enjoyed them! Sugar is a great substitute for monk fruit, and I'm happy they worked out for you:)
