Units Scale
  • 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • 2 large frozen banana
  • 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup (depending on how sweet the fruit is)

  • 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
  • Squeeze of lime juice (optional)

Instructions

  2. Blend all ingredients on high until smooth and creamy. If too thick, add a splash of almond milk

Notes

  • Use frozen fruit, your smoothie will be much creamier
  • Buy fruit on sale and freeze it to save money
  • Adjust the amount of maple syrup depending on how sweet your fruit is
  • Use any non-dairy milk you have on hand
  • Add frozen cauliflower rice for a flavorless boost of nutrients
  • Make your smoothie ahead of time by pouring it into ice cube trays and freezing. Then blend with milk and enjoy!
  • This makes 4 snack size smoothies or 2 meal sized smoothies
