To the base of your food processor or high-speed blender add the frozen banana slices and vanilla extract.
Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. If you need to add almond milk, pour a teaspoon at a time into the blender until you get the right consistency.
Next, remove the lid and add the cookie dough balls into the blender. Put the lid back on, and pulse the blender until the cookie dough is roughly incorporated
Add a few extra mini chocolate chips at the end and enjoy immediately, or use a spatula to transfer the nice cream mixture into airtight container and keep in the freezer

Freeze ripe bananas for the creamiest nice cream
Use a very minimal amount of almond milk if adding it to the nice cream base. It will become too icy if you add too much
Don't blend the bites too much, because you want to be able to see big chunks of edible cookie dough in the banana nice cream
Enjoy immediately for best results, or store in an airtight container or loaf pan covered with plastic wrap in the freezer for up to 2 weeks
