The most festive appetizer at any holiday party, this Christmas Tree Charcuterie Board couldn't be cuter. With a red and green color scheme, this 20 minute appetizer is perfect to serve at the holidays. Add your favorite meats and cheeses, and you'll impress every guest with this fun Christmas cheese board.

Ingredients

CHEESE:

  • Cheddar cheese- cubed
  • Havarti cheese- cubed

MEATS:

  • Hard salami
  • Soppressata

PRODUCE:

  • Sugared cranberries
  • Green olives

DRY GOODS:

  • Crackers
  • Pretzel sticks

GARNISH:

  • Fresh rosemary sprigs
  • Fresh thyme sprigs

 

 

Instructions

  1. Start with the pretzel sticks and make a "stump"
  2. Next, add a layer of the salami
  3. Working upwards, make each level a little smaller than the previous one in order to form a triangle shape
  4. Once you get to the top, use a cookie cutter to cut a star out of cheese and garnish with fresh rosemary and thyme sprigs
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy

Notes

  • Start at the bottom of the "tree" and build upwards
  • Use cookie cutters to cut the cheese into fun, festive shapes
  • Think about how many people you need to serve before you begin to make the cheese board
  • Prepare all ingredients beforehand, then build your tree right before serving
  • Stick to a color scheme to make it look coordinated
  • Store leftovers in individual an airtight containers in the fridge for up to 3 days
