Turkey bacon in the air fryer is the perfect solution to a healthy, quick breakfast on busy mornings. In less than 10 minutes you can have perfectly cooked bacon without having to stand over the stove and watch it. It's perfect for breakfast, sandwiches, or on top of yummy salads.

Are your mornings usually crazy busy? On days I'm rushing around in the mornings, I feel like it's hard to make the time to eat any breakfast, let alone a healthy one. However, that's one of the reasons I love this air fryer turkey bacon recipe because I can set it and "forget" it while I finish getting ready.
Cooking turkey bacon in the air fryer is a great way to make sure you get a decent amount of protein in, in the morning without having to spend a whole lot of time in the kitchen. All you have to do is place the turkey bacon slices into a preheated air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes. There's no grease splattering, no standing over the stove, and no worries (if you have kids) about little hands getting burned.
You can also pair this easy recipe with almost any breakfast food! Put on the side of scrambled eggs or soft boiled eggs and toast for a filling and balanced meal.
Or maybe you're looking for a way to add some protein to your favorite pancakes and waffles. Either way, next time you're making breakfast be sure to include this turkey bacon in the air fryer!
IS TURKEY BACON HEALTHY?
Compared to traditional pork bacon, turkey bacon has a little less fat, fewer calories, and more protein per serving. It's also a great option for those who don't eat pork due to religious reasons or those following any kind of special diet.
While generally thought of as a healthier option, it still is high in sodium, so just be mindful of that. (especially if your doctor tells you to watch your sodium intake)

The cooking time will vary based on your personal preference of texture. If you want crunchy bacon, you'll cook it at 380 degrees F for 8-9 minutes. If you like "limpy' or soft bacon, you only need to cook it 5-6 minutes.
