This Air Fryer Quesadilla recipe is a healthy dinner that's done in less than 20 minutes. It's a great weeknight meal that only needs 3 ingredients. Both kids and adults love these healthy, protein packed quesadillas made in the air fryer.


Units Scale
  • 4 flour tortillas
  • 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken breast
  • 1 1/3 cup cheddar cheese- shredded
  • 2 teaspoons avocado oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin (optional)


  1. Lay your tortilla on a flat surface and distribute 1/4 cup of diced chicken breast and 1/3 cup of shredded cheese over half of it, then fold the tortilla in half.
  2. Repeat with the remaining tortillas
  3. Place 2 quesadillas into the air fryer basket and brush a light coating of oil over the top. Cook at 350 degrees F for 8 minutes, flipping halfway through
  4. Once done, cook the other 2 quesadilla, then slice and serve immediately

Tips and Tricks:

  • Don't overstuff the quesadilla

  • Remember to flip the quesadillas halfway through the cooking time
  • Use a pizza cutter so you get smooth, clean cuts
