Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons strawberry jelly (or your favorite flavor!)
  • 2 strawberries thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. On one slice of the bread spread 1 1/2 tablespoons of peanut butter, making sure to leave a small border around the edges.
  2. On another slice of bread spread 1 1/2 tablespoons jelly, again, leaving a small border.
  3. Repeat steps 1-2 with the other two slices of bread
  4. Place thinly sliced strawberries on the peanut butter side of the bread, then place the spice with jelly on top of the peanut butter and strawberries
  5. Put your sandwiches into the air fryer basket and cook at 360 degrees F for 4-5 minutes, using a spatula to flip them halfway through the cook time
  6. Carefully take them out of the basket, let sit for a minute, then cut in half and enjoy

Notes

  • Make it with your favorites! This recipe is super versatile when it comes to ingredients used
  • Leave a small border around the slice of bread when spreading the peanut butter so it doesn't leak out into your air fryer basket
  • Be sure to flip the sandwich halfway through so both sides get golden brown
  • Let the fried peanut butter and jelly sandwiches cool for a minute or two before cutting so the melty peanut butter doesn't get all over
  • If you've got picky eaters, try cutting the sandwich with a cookie cutter so they have a fun shape to eat!
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for 1-2 days, and reheat in the air fryer at 350 F for 2-3 minutes
