The BEST Gluten Free Chicken Tenders around! They're golden brown, crunchy, juicy, and oh so amazing. These cook in just 10 minutes in the air fryer and make s delicious, quick dinner.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 pounds of raw Chicken Breast
  • 2 Egg Whites
  • 3/4 cup Gluten Free Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 3/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breast into tenders strips, I prefer to do this when the chicken is slightly frozen because it's easier to cut
  2. Set up your breading station: First- crack 2 egg whites into a shallow bowl and whisk them together.
  3. In a second shallow bowl whisk together the gluten free Panko, salt, pepper, paprika, chili powder, and garlic powder
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees F when you begin breading
  5. To bread- take one of your cut tenders strips and roll it in the egg white, move it to the seasoned Panko and make sure to coat the chicken entirely. Transfer the breaded chicken tender to a baking sheet and repeat the breading process with the remaining chicken tenders.
  6. Once all your chicken is breaded, spray them generously (each side) with avocado oil cooking spray
  7. Add half of the breaded chicken tenders to preheated air fryer basket and cook them for 4 minutes
  8. After the 4 minutes are up, use tongs to carefully flip each chicken tender over and cook them for another 4 minutes
  9. Take the cooked chicken out of the air fryer basket with tongs, and then repeat steps 7-8 with the remaining chicken
  10. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces and enjoy!

Notes

  • Be sure chicken breast is boneless and skinless
  • Chicken is easier to cut into strips when it is a tiny bit frozen
  • Save the leftover yolks and make my chocolate chip cookies!
  • Leftovers make an easy, healthy lunch
  • Change up the seasoning, and put a fun twist on these chicken tenders
  • Store leftovers in an air tight container in the fridge for 3-5 days
