HOW TO MAKE GLUTEN FREE CHICKEN TENDERS IN THE AIR FRYER

- Cut the chicken breast into tenders strips, I prefer to do this when the chicken is slightly frozen because it's easier to cut
- Set up your breading station: First- crack 2 egg whites into a shallow bowl and whisk them together.
- In a second shallow bowl whisk together the gluten free Panko, salt, pepper, paprika, chili powder, and garlic powder
- Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees F when you begin breading
- To bread- take one of your cut tenders strips and roll it in the egg white, move it to the seasoned Panko and make sure to coat the chicken entirely. Transfer the breaded chicken tender to a baking sheet and repeat the breading process with the remaining chicken tenders.
- Once all your chicken is breaded, spray them generously (each side) with avocado oil cooking spray
- Add half of the breaded chicken tenders to preheated air fryer basket and cook them for 4 minutes
- After the 4 minutes are up, use tongs to carefully flip each chicken tender over and cook them for another 4 minutes
- Take the cooked chicken out of the air fryer basket with tongs, and then repeat steps 7-8 with the remaining chicken
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauces and enjoy!

HOW TO STORE AND REHEAT GLUTEN FREE AIR FRYER CHICKEN TENDERS
Storing:
Store these chicken tenders in an air tight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Or freeze the cooked, gluten free chicken tenders in a freezer safe bag for up to 2 months.
Reheating:
I recommend reheating the chicken tenders in the air fryer so the breading stays super crunchy. Place the cooked tenders into your air fryer basket and set the temperature to 350 degrees F. Reheat for 5 minutes, if not hot enough for you, increase the time by 1-2 minutes.
The breading of the chicken doesn't stay as crisp if they're reheated in the oven or microwave, but they still reheat well in either of them. For the oven, preheat it to 350 degrees F, place chicken tenders onto a parchment lined baking sheet, and heat for 8-10 minutes. In the microwave, place them onto a heat proof plate and cook for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Check the chicken and add 30 seconds at a time until they're hot enough for you.
